Looking Back on a Life That Didn't Happen

Steven Davidson catches up with Billy Kirkwood then takes him back in time on a journey into Billy's fabricated life. All Billy's answers to the questions in part 2 of the show are improvised and are a pack of lies. This podcast contains only the purest daftness.

Steven Davidson catches up with top stand up comedy hero Stephen Carlin, then journeys back with him through his deeply controversial life. Carlin knows nothing of this dark past that has been created for him, or of Davidson's questions, and must create an improvised life for himself around them. This is serious discussion of nonsense at its very best. As always, it is clearly marked on the show where the madness begins...

Looking Back on a Life That Didn't Happen is a show that starts off in a very sensible manner and then descends into nonsense in a very serious way. Following a normal beginning to the interview recorded at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014, Steven Davidson goes on to ask the interviewee questions about a life which he has made up for them. A life that didn't happen. Ivo Graham has no idea of the questions beforehand or his 'favourite' tunes that are played and none of his answers have any hint of truth or any connection to his actual real life. Nonsense begins at 0837 for those who do not wish to hear anything connected to reality.
