  • American Groove - #36 Oh Okay?

You meet someone you really like and go on a great first date. You have common interests and enjoy each other's company. The second date goes just as well, and it feels amazing, almost too good to be true. And then, on the third date, they abruptly bring up something important that you need to know? Do you simply reply with "Oh, okay"? And then they just drop this personal stuff bombshell of them being I don't know a porn star in the 90s was the ass on the Gerbers baby powder commercial.

Can we overcome conflict and build a relationship with someone regardless of their past and personal interests? This episode explores this question as well as discussing comedy films from the early 2000s, including Pixar and DreamWorks movies like Finding Nemo and Shrek. It's a long episode, but it's filled with enjoyable laughter and thought-provoking questions about relationships. Enjoy!

  • #159 - Interview with Victoria Wolf

There are all sorts of people living the RV lifestyle, but none that I have personally come close to are like Victoria. She's a foodie and does a YouTube channel with her husband Rich. The issue is she is gluten-free and dairy free but can eat foods that she loves but can't have them due to gluten and dairy? She and her husband try different dishes from around the country. Then they experiment in their kitchen with dairy and gluten-free versions of the dishes in their RV.

Having dietary intolerances or restrictions can be challenging, but what I admire about Victoria from GFexplorers is that she has embraced the situation and created her own unique space by focusing on taste, smell, and visual appeal. Be sure to check out her yYouTubechannel channel, which has a lot of videos from RV live to olive Burger and so much more. Links to her content are below.

      • American Groove - #35 Daddy's Peugeot

Where back for another episode, we reached almost a year in October doing this awesome segment with conversation after conversation. We discussed our society and the entertainment industry as artists, examining how they affect our country, specifically the U.S. It's a darker little political, but we really tried two different sides. We touched on how television has changed shows that aren't being made the same, especially with comedy. Our tastes and what we can tolerate has heavily effected it.

Also, I (Dave) released a new song called White Peugeot song which isn't influenced by my dad's car, he had a Peugeot when he was younger in the 70s. The vocals are reminiscent of Jim Morrison, creating a charming and mellow atmosphere. You can check out the full song below.

              • American groove - #154 The Extraterrestrial

We returned, this time adopting a fresh approach, transitioning from the high-energy ambiance song Pump up the Jam by Tektronix to the routine intricacies of daily work-life, including the office dynamics with its intriguing interplays among colleagues—those 'couples' and the peculiar connection of having coworkers in relationships. It dawned on us that our professional life constitutes a significant portion of our time, almost like living an entirely separate existence.

From that point onward, we immersed ourselves in the captivating realm of science fiction. We explored the intricacies of time travel, contemplating its impact on the far-off extraterrestrial landscapes situated millions of light-years away from our planet. We assure you the journey gets peculiar; believe me, we deliver. However, it all commences and concludes with vibes and an incredible smoke session.

Gerard is the embodiment of a relentless dreamer, persevering through all challenges. He has successfully established a business centered around amplifying artists. Not all remarkable music attains the coveted #1 spot on the charts. While underground artists have often faced undue criticism, the tide is turning with technological advancements and innovative tools. With the evolution of possibilities, achieving success akin to Bon Jovi is no longer the sole pathway in the realm of Underground Music Collective, affectionately known as UMC – an all-inclusive hub for diverse artists.

Throughout the episode, Gerard delved into various aspects of the artist's journey, encompassing personal style, well-being amidst the modern milieu, and a fundamental truth: triumph as an artist doesn't necessitate celebrity status. The focus shifts to one's craft, elucidating ways to connect with your audience, discover and learn from them, ultimately crafting your unique rendition of a rock star.

Try to check out UMC and see what they can do for you, remembering as artists, we work together best when we help each other.

                      • American Groove - #152 Fridays at Chilis

So this time, Karissa is taking us to Chilis on Friday night. Throughout the episode, we touched on our favorite munchies like Stout, based in Iowa, with the truffle shuffle to mini Dorotios in a Pringles, to the rabbit hole of red-40, everything insane. Its stoner podcast was all over the place cause.

The best part is the longer you listen, the stoner you get with food and what we eat to get a grip of what we call reality, baby, it's shit.
