Hitting rock bottom, having someone so important in my life, play God with my life, it taught me things I couldn't have even imagined I would learn; but in the same breath it helped me figure out who I was, what I needed/wanted.

I'm pretty sure the title says it all, haha

What are roles in your home?

Do the roles in your home mimic the roles you had growing up?

These are topics I feel like we need talk about more, express what our needs and wants are from people were married to, dating, cohabitating, whatever type of relationship you're in.

This episode was a fun one to process through, think about what I wanted to say, try and understand how all of these feelings feel and figuring out how to grow from them, feel each emotion and move through them.

It's amazing how much calmer you feel when things click, when you do the work.

I was feeling all the feels and maybe a bit overwhelmed and instead of letting the "nothing" keep going, I decided to talk.

I truly feel like I had my own personal "Come to Jesus" while I was away. I truly feel like it re centered me in a way that I didn't even realize I needed. 

Since coming back it's like the universe keeps giving me all these reminders and I'm definitely listening and paying attention and maybe these signs have been here all along and I just wasn't ready to see them. 

Some of these moments have been extremely hard to see, to realize, to even begin processing. When you start to take a step back and the picture just keeps getting clearer and clearer. 

I never thought I would be sharing this, but I can't and I don't want to keep this part of my life in the dark, it needs light and I want to help shed some light on topics that need to be talked about. That we're all going through things, that we all face things in life that we never thought we would.

This is me, this is part of my story, what got me to this place. 

It's so important to create healthy habits with your signifiant other, goin on dates, trips, doing things without your kids. It teaches them so much and becomes such a healthy ripple for you kids and others to see and have as examples.
