Amy Carlson left her husband and three children to become "Mother God" of the Love Has Won cult and was equal parts loved and despised by her followers. A strange mix of new age theology and bizarre enabling behavior would  lead to her rapid decline and eventual death, calling into question who is ultimately responsible to keep people safe when the lines of reality become so blurred.
