Gara Steinfeld is a licensed therapist and founder of Real Healing Counseling, an experiential, attachment focused group therapy practice that specializes in working with who struggle with complex trauma and the ways we learn how to survive, such as sexand love addiction, eating disorders, codependency, and intimacy issues. 

While she is a self-proclaimed nerd, loves learning and has pursued many trainings and certifications (insert fancy therapy terms here: somatic, parts work, emdr, inner child work), she is human and authentic with her clients and believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. She gets to sit with people and witness them transform their lives, step into authenticity, connection, joy and aliveness. She gets to witness people do the very things they didnt believe were possible for them. And for this, she is extremely grateful.
