The team at the Don't Judge Me podcast reached out and asked me to be a guest on their show. They are a great group and really have fun with their podcast. They kindly allowed me to post the entire episode on my podcast feed, so I did just that with a brief introduction. Their podcast is a production of FindLaw. I really enjoyed being on their podcast.

Now retired, Kurt Robinson earned his way through outstanding schools with stunning academic success. Originally sought after because of his perceived athletic prowess, he quickly proved that his real strength lay in intellectual ability. He and Joe Montana became friends at Notre Dame University, and when they both landed in Santa Clara, Kurt for law school, and Joe playing ball with a local team, they both realized that the only people they really knew were each other. Among other stories, Kurt tells how he practiced law, became a sports agent, and how he is now developing a television program for Netflix.

Criminal defense attorney Leon J. Mezzetti, Jr., has dedicated more than 30 years to defending clients charged with criminal offenses, including DUI, throughout Northern California. Before starting his California criminal defense law firm in 1979, Mr. Mezzetti worked as an Alameda County deputy district attorney where he learned what the state looks for in criminal cases. In light of the upcoming election, David Lim and Louis Goodman discuss their judicial campaigns. Neither of us is a judge, so that says something about the results. However, I think we both learned a lot in running for judicial office.

Louis Goodman discusses 3 main topics.
1 The upcoming election.
A. Why it's important to not only vote but to contribute to campaigns. They're expensive, and on the presidential level it's a way to "vote" in a swing state.
B. Now scheduled interviews of both Alameda County Superior court judicial candidates, Mark Fickes and Elena Condes, coming up in the next two episodes.
C. David Lim and Louis Goodman discuss what is what like running for judge in Alameda County.
2. The podcast is now available on YouTube, Amazon Music, and Pandora. Some inside information included, a little bit of tech talk.
3. Upcoming collaboration with the Alameda County Bar Association and a Barristers Club Zoom call that we'll also use to make into a podcast.
