A Yoga Nidra to support celebrating ourselves and our achievements.
This Yoga Nidra is for you if you
- have a tendency to overlook your many achievements and to give your energy and attention to what you didn’t do well.
- have a tendency to focus on what you want to fix about yourself rather than acknowledging your many wonderful attributes.
I celebrate my success represents a celebration of self and all the small and big things we do every day to successfully navigate life and to show up for ourselves and others.
I think of it as placing our energy and attention on what is going well in our lives and what we value about ourselves rather than focusing on what’s not perfect, either the things that we get wrong or that we’d like to change about ourselves.
For many of us, what’s not perfect tends to get much more attention than what’s working and going well.
It’s not about sweeping uncomfortable truths under the carpet but about seeing them as part of a bigger picture, about accepting all parts or aspects of ourselves.
This shift in focus, seeing the full picture and giving everything a place, allows us to have a more rounded perspective and to experience more joy in our lives.
