A very important doctrine clearly found in the scripture has to do with the divinity of Messiah. Now, the Bible reveals that you show him a ship and of course, I'm speaking about Jesus of Nazareth, that he is fully man, and he is fully God. And this is the basic truth concerning another important doctrine that relates to the divinity of the Messiah, known as the Incarnation, that God who is Spirit, put on flesh, human flesh, and dwelt among us.

We are all guilty of making poor decisions, and sometimes we say to ourselves, what were we thinking? Why did I do such a foolish thing? And the answer is this, you have been deceived. And one of the things that we're going to learn in the passage of scripture that we're going to study today is that if we think in a specific way, it lessens the likelihood that we will be deceived by the enemy.

Focus tonight is going to be on the home, and more specifically, in a marriage, a marriage that has produced children, and again, the home can be thought of as a family, and the family relationship is very dear to God. God moves mightily to to comfort that family, to bless that family, to provide for that family, and to lead that family into the midst of his will that they too as a family, can be representatives of his kingdom and demonstrate their faith and be faithful witnesses of the truth of God.

We began this chapter last week, and we're going to see this week that God continues to make a distinction between how his people, who have faith, who have wisdom, who have understanding, who have embraced his standards of morality and ethics, how we behave, what we think about various things and how different we should live from those who Do not have faith again.

We have reached the 30th chapter of the Book of Proverbs, and we see a unique group of Proverbs. In this 30th chapter, we see that there is a change. Now, when we began our study of the book of Proverbs, we learned that these proverbs were from Shlomo or King Solomon.

We are people who are called to have a testimony. People should see us and how we live and how we speak should have a godly influence on others life. That is why we are here, and when we do that, we will indeed have a life that has significance, a life that has eternal implications to it, that we are going to be people that bring about an eternal change in the life of others, that we will influence them To walk in truth that they would be committed to the God of Israel, that they will receive the savior of Israel, or Messiah, Yeshua, so that they too have that kingdom hope.

Let me say that differently, we are called to be different, as we see in the New Covenant, according to Peter, we are called to be a peculiar people, and that really means that we are called to be treasured by God. And what we should ask ourselves is this, what is it about our behavior?

Are individuals that are known by our relationship with God, and that relationship is established through a covenant. And when we examine that word, covenant Brit, we find that it is derived from a word that speaks of purity. So when we enter into a covenantal relationship with God through faith, through the sufficiency of the cross, we are going to see that God begins to work in our life in order to purify our life. Now, why does he do that?
