  • Romans Chapter 9 Part 5
We have a very important study to go through at this time, from the book of Romans and chapter nine. Now we took a two and a half week detour, because Paul was teaching. And he was using examples from the book of Genesis. And we spent those two and a half weeks looking at those passages for one reason that we would have the right context of Scripture. See, it's very dangerous that when we look at a verse of scripture that's quoted in the New Testament, and we just deal with that quotation, and not understanding the passage that it was taken from that passage gives us a proper way to understand the intent of that New Testament writer, in this case, the Apostle Paul.

  • Isaiah Chapter 57 Part 2
Only God can make a righteous and good change in your life. In other words, a kingdom change where you no longer are bound to this world, and the power and the darkness of this world. But that you can be free, liberated and belong to the kingdom of God with that eternal hope.

  • Isaiah Chapter 57 Part 1
There is a constant sin that plagues the people of God. And that sin is idolatry. And we see that many times the prophets speak of idolatry as a spiritual adultery. Rather than being faithful to God, their husband, Israel, committed spiritual adultery, and went after other gods, even though Moses warned them and commanded them not to do so. And revealed to them to do so would bring about God's judgment, his curse, instead of his goodness, and his blessing

  • Joshua Chapter1 Part 2
God does indeed want to lead you in his pathways, his paths are directions for us to find his very goodness, and with the good things of God comes also his presence, being intimate, being together with him. So ask yourself a question. What are you pursuing? are you pursuing the things of this world? Not that all the things of this world are bad? We know that we have need there's a necessity for certain things. But are we focused upon the things of this world? Or are we truly pursuing God, experiencing Him, knowing him, and being in his presence, walking in obedience, doing his will, and again, bringing glory and honor and praise unto him, this is where joy is found.

  • A question about baptism
Is baptism necessary to be saved? And the answer that question is no, it is not. Now, if someone were to ask me an entirely different question, and that is, should a believer be baptized? The answer is a strong affirmation. Yes, he should. Because baptism testifies of our salvation experience. And it also reveals a few additional points. So let's talk first about baptism.

  • Joshua Chapter 1 Part 1
At times of our life, we go through a transition, there are new things that we're called to experience and new things that we're called to do, if we're going to be in God's will. And this is true for the one whose book bears his name, and I'm speaking about Yehosha, that is Joshua the son of Nun. Now we're gonna see that that God has used him as a servant, a servant to Moses, but things have changed. Why is that? Well take out your Bible and look with me to that portion of Scripture, the book of Joshua in chapter one.

  • Isaiah Chapter 56 Part 2
There's a very important term in the Bible. And it's edification. God through His Spirit. He works in a believers life to edify us what does that mean? The simple root means to build up and God is at work, He is faithful, to build us up into the men and the women that he wants us to be. But we can also hinder that not because we're stronger than God, but because your spiritual laws, when we are rebellious, when we do not commit ourselves to the things of Scripture, when we are lured away into the things of the world, we're going to hinder.

  • 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 Part 2
We have a blessed hope. That is God has promised to do something. And that is to remove believers from this world prior to the outpouring of the wrath of God, we can have absolute assurance that we are not going to experience any of God's wrath, that new covenant relationship that we have with the living God through His son, his only begotten Son, secures that for us eternally. Therefore, we never have to fear God's wrath. And when we, God forbid, move away from his will, God will discipline us as a loving Heavenly Father disciplines his children.

  • Revelation Shorts Episode 19: The second coming
Shalom, and welcome to this edition of revelation shorts. Our focus is going to be on the second coming of Messiah. And I want to focus in on one of those words, the word coming. Now, if we speak about the coming of Messiah, that Greek word pero, Sia, we have to ask ourselves, which coming are we speaking to? Are we speaking of an event known as our blessed hope, the rapture, or indeed the segment coming, they are not one in the same. They are separate events, they are distinct. And there are prophetic signs that teach us that they're not the same. For example, we learned in a previous edition of revelation shorts, that the sign of the rapture, because the rapture happens prior to the wrath of God.

  • Psalm 66
Our God is a great God. And therefore we need to acknowledge this both in Word indeed. And basically, this is what the psalm that we're going to study in this lesson is all about living a life that gives praise to God, acknowledging that he is indeed the great God over all creation. So with that said, take out your Bible, and look with me to the book of Psalms and Psalm 66. Now, this begins, look at verse one, he speaks to the chief musician, or the choir director, a song and then it says, A psalm. So these two terms that we have run into before within this book of Psalms are both being used.
