Years ago, I declared that life is for living, not merely existing. That declaration required change. I had to tear down old beliefs, leave behind what no longer served me, and rebuild my life with purpose. Through that process of demolition, renovation, and transformation, I discovered what it truly means to live. But the journey didn't stop there. I realized that I wasn't just capable of living my life. I was capable of creating one I genuinely love. By taking responsibility for my happiness and being intentional about the people, choices, and experiences in my life, I built something meaningful and fulfilling. There are still difficult days. There always will be. But I've learned that bad days don't get to dictate my story. Mindset matters. Perspective matters. Resilience matters. This episode is about staying grounded, remaining steadfast, and continuing to build a life you love, one choice at a time.
Sheila checks in from her tour through Italy with a reminder we all need: life is for living. Don’t be afraid to step out into the world and explore. Try new things, visit new places, taste new foods, and immerse yourself in new cultures. These experiences are powerful ways to create the life you truly love living. While we’re discovering and exploring, we often stumble upon something new that we enjoy — sometimes even healthier, more aligned alternatives to old habits or routines. Growth happens when we stay open.So open your mind. Say yes to new experiences. As long as we’re living, we can keep learning, expanding, and evolving.
In this catch‑up, I take the opportunity to look back over the last few months of topics — and honestly, they tie together so beautifully. This moment gives me space to bring it all full circle and show how each conversation reflects a journey. A journey I’ve taken myself, and one I know will resonate with so many of you. We’ve talked about getting to unbothered. We’ve talked about taking our foot off the gas. We’ve talked about getting back to basics. And through all of it, I’ve shared how you can be fully committed to self‑love and self‑care and still miss the mark sometimes. That’s real life. That’s transformation.Because life is full of transitions, and within every transformation there is usually a renovation. And renovation? It’s messy. It’s uncomfortable. It requires tearing things down, clearing things out, and facing what no longer fits. But that mess makes room for something more beautiful — and that’s exactly what our transitions are doing for us.So keep dreaming big. Keep manifesting boldly. Keep expecting beautiful things. And most importantly, keep creating the life you love living.
Episode 58 explores the transitions and changes we move through in life. Sheila reflects on a betrayal that pushed her into a season of intense hyperfocus — a moment where she turned inward and poured everything into herself. But in that hyperfocus, she realized she had become burned out and overwhelmed. The things that once brought her joy had turned into tasks, assignments, and responsibilities that no longer felt light. After a therapy session, she was reminded of something essential: not everything you love has to become a project. You can add calm back into your life. You can let your hobbies be hobbies again. And you can take your foot off the gas.We cannot go full throttle at all times — it’s a recipe for burnout and unhappiness. Protect your peace. Recognize your growth. Give yourself permission to slow down, recover, and stop to smell the roses. A life lived at full speed is not a life we truly enjoy. Tune in to yourself and choose what sustains your happiness.
Managing your energy is essential. Our energy extends into every part of our lives — physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, and relational. We have full control over how we manage it and where we choose to extend it.When we fail to protect our energy, we open the door to burnout, exhaustion, and imbalance. But when we manage it well, we optimize our performance, strengthen our clarity, and show up as high achievers in every area of life.Your energy is your power. Guard it. Direct it. Use it intentionally.
In this episode, I sit down with relationship coach Dave McLachlan, author of Is He Worthy?, for a powerful and necessary conversation about dating with discernment. Dave’s mission is clear — to save relationships before they start — by helping women recognize red flags early, trust what they see, and stop investing in men who aren’t ready, intentional, or accountable.Together, we unpack:The red flags women overlook mostWhy confusion is a warning, not a feelingHow to tell when a man is emotionally unavailableWhat a man’s patterns reveal about his characterThe difference between chemistry and compatibilityWhy accountability protects your peaceHow to stop failed relationships before they startDave also breaks down his powerful W.O.R.T.H.Y. Framework, giving women a clear, practical guide for evaluating a man’s readiness for a healthy relationship. His book Is He Worthy? expands on this framework and offers a grounded, honest perspective from a man — adding credibility and clarity to the dating conversation. You can learn more about Dave’s work and the W.O.R.T.H.Y. Framework at IsHeWorthy.com.This episode is direct, eye‑opening, and deeply empowering. If you’re ready to choose better — earlier — this conversation will give you the clarity and confidence you’ve been craving.
In this episode, Sheila invites us to practice deep forgiveness — both for ourselves and for others. She reminds us that many of the decisions we made in the past were made from the level of awareness, maturity, and standards we had at that time. Those choices may not align with who we are today, and that’s okay. Growth means evolving beyond old decisions, not carrying shame for them. But forgiveness doesn’t stop with us. Sheila teaches that we must also forgive others — not to excuse their behavior, but to release the emotional weight we’ve been carrying. Forgiving others frees your spirit, clears your mind, and opens the door to peace. And peace is essential for creating the life you love. This episode is your reminder to let go of old stories, stop ruminating, and give yourself permission to grow. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Release what no longer serves you. You are becoming a stronger, wiser, more grounded version of yourself — and peace is your new standard.
In this episode, Family Law Attorney Jamie Britt Paine and Sheila open up a powerful conversation about the real work of becoming whole. Together, they explore childhood trauma, toxic positivity, energetic boundaries, people‑pleasing, self‑love, and the healing journey. They also discuss what it means to thrive — not just survive — and the daily choices women can make to protect their peace, strengthen their resilience, and “wildly thrive” in every season of life. This is an engaging, heartfelt, and supportive dialogue about the challenges women face and the strength we carry as we grow through them.
Episode 55 is all about becoming unbothered and releasing yourself from the grip of people pleasing. Sheila breaks down how people pleasing often comes from trying to manage other people’s opinions, criticisms, and emotional reactions. She identifies the subtle ways people manipulate, guilt‑trip, or criticize you just to get what they want — and how they later place the blame back on you.But here’s the truth: your loving, kind nature isn’t the issue. It’s the reason they had access to you in the first place. And now, it’s time to reclaim that access.Sheila reminds us that it’s time to look at the people in your life objectively, not subjectively. A title — father, son, brother, friend — does not automatically grant someone access to your peace, your energy, or your emotional space. Access must be earned, not assumed. This episode is your invitation to release yourself from the expectations of others, protect your peace, and move through life unbothered — not because you don’t care, but because you finally care about yourself.
