Johanna Payton is a Lecturer and Director of Learning & Teaching in the Journalism department at City, University of London. She is in the third year of her PhD, researching creativity and journalism education. A former Guardian editor and freelance writer, she has over two decades of experience covering all things vintage fashion, no-fly travel and sustainable beauty. She is a passionate advocate for creative learning, teaching and living.

Dr Lynn Gribble is Associate Professor, School of Management and Governance at The University of New South Wales Sydney. She has taught management to large classes of Master of Business Administration and Master of Commerce students for ten years and has pioneered the use of voice recordings, audience response platforms and learning analytics to personalise every interaction with her students, increasing both their engagement and learning outcomes. Lynn is Senior Fellow of the Advance HE UK.

This episode focuses on a discussion of inclusion in academic integrity. There is significant over-representation of certain groups of students in academic conduct investigations, for example international postgraduate students. Various interventions are discussed to address this inequality, including pedagogical research, policy changes, expanding educational opportunities.

She is currently leading a QAA funded project titled ‘Improving student learning by joining up inclusion/accessibility with academic integrity’ . Dr Curie Scott is an Education consultant and coach working on drawing for wellbeing. As an educator and researcher, she is interested in embodied cognition, the co-construction of knowledge via making, visual research, and using art for well-being. She trained as a medical doctor and taught health professionals for 15 years. She moved to Education and embedded creative teaching approaches into a teaching qualification for novice lecturers. Extending her PhD research work on drawing, Curie coaches and runs thinking through drawing workshops. Her reflective workshops using expressive drawing, making-by-hand, and metaphor, reconnects people to their bodies and surrounding environment.
