Lucky ballot winners secure affordable first homes
A housing initiative for first home buyers in Lower Hutt has been drawing successful applicants out of a ballot this morning.
Koru Homes has completed a residential housing development in Wainuiomata aimed at first-home buyers, with a fixed price of $650,000.
Winners of the 11 units have started to be drawn out this morning, one told RNZ it was a dream finally coming true.
