There are some adult children of narcissistic parents and grandparents who might not be clear as to why he or she was selected to play the dysfunctional role of scapegoat while growing up.  This confusion can sometimes compound symptoms of narcissistic abuse syndrome.  The narcissistic family system is often set up in such a way that certain tactics to control scapegoated children are not only diabolical, but not as apparent to outsiders, friends and distant family members of the child who has been scapegoated.  In order to gain some peace of mind, adult children of narcissistic parents can learn how to see the signs of pathological narcissism in order to heal and thrive forward past the aftermath of narcissistic abuse syndrome.

There are times that you hear the expression from people who don't believe that karma exist, while some narcissists seem to believe that luck is real and not karma.  Of course they have a right to their thoughts and opinions however, karma is another way of acknowledging that there's such a thing called cause and effect.  Karma is the result of choices.  For instance you breath in then as a result you'll breath out.  Karma.  When a person takes time out to reflect on what he or she has experienced in a narcissist relationship and CHOOSES to learn from those experiences it can RESULT in thriving forward and healing on to a better way of life.  The aftermath of narcissistic relationships can easily be perceived as deep and traumatic, but it can also be perceived as an opportunity for one to thrive forward and become bigger and better than before.  Share your story because you never know who might become inspired to do the same!

There are some who have testified that their narcissist seems to be oblivious to how others around him or her experiences narcissism in the relationship.  It's like a parallel reality, which can seem surreal to everyone except the narcissist.  Narcissistic personality types tend to lack empathy.  It might surprise some to know that narcissists can feel sympathy at times.  Their lack of empathy causes others to perhaps feel and or think that the narcissist just doesn't care about the quality of their relationships with others.  There are some who have come to notice that their narcissist doesn't seem to have that switch that warns them that it might not be a good idea to harm others that they claim to love and care about.  The way that narcissistic personality types tend to relate to others becomes problematic, except for the narcissist.  It's not impossible to deal with what some might refer to as very difficult personality types, such as cluster B.  Due to a lack of empathy some narcissistic personality types give a cold shoulder, or can seem indifferent towards those who are emotionally invested.  Some people have shared that their narcissist seems to have such a strong sense of entitlement that he or she has recruited flying monkeys to help them pull some of the most diabolical tactics to maintain control, or prove superiority.

An effective support base is designed to help you to focus on thriving past narcissistic relationships.  An effective support base has focus tools that are designed to help you maintain a no contact lifestyle from past narcissistic relationships, while servinging as a preventative tactic from investing in more narcissistic relationships.  The aftermath of narcissistic relationships tend to run deep, therefore; a person can come to realize that he or she must go deep within to thrive past or overcome these types of relationships.  Some people who have the experience of narcissistic relationships might feel as if he or she is a narcissist magnent, perhaps due to adverse childhood experiences or what's known as ACE.  Narcissistic family systems, or parents with NPD can be seen as an adversity experienced during childhood.  Thriving forward might seem like a pipe dream, but it is possible to thrive forward past these relationships once a person comes to accept that he or she is outgrowing narcissistic relationships.  One of the ways that you become hoover resistant to narcissistic personality types is by having value in your support base.  Keep thriving forward!
