One of the coolest parts about being a woman is the opportunity to be able to grow a baby within yourself. Ya, I know it sounds kind of cliche but also it is kind of crazy to have one human growing inside another human. Rachel and Kate got pretty curious of what life is like when you are pregnant and working and still being a #girlboss in optometry. So we turned to our mentor and one of our favorite humans, Dr. Jennifer Lyerly for the inside scoop. She tells us more about how your body, your life, and how you practice changes but still remaining true to yourself. Dr. Lyerly shares how she navigates how the world may view you differently, and to answer the age old question “Are you still working after you have the baby??” It is important to note that no babies were harmed in the making of the episode, even though Kate said she thinks babies are so cute she could squeeze them.
