32 year old Seer (real name Siyasanga Kambi) hails from Komani in the Eastern Cape. The first time she believed she could sing, was in Grade 4, when singing in class she received compliments for her singing ability. From that moment onwards, she knew it would no longer be just a hobby. At age 12, Seer and friends from church started a gospel group, when the group dismantled at the end of school career. In 2011, Seer then put her music career on hold, and began to dabble in poetry, a newfound passion. At the same time, she enrolled for a degree in Media, Communication and Culture at Nelson Mandela University.

Joining Pippa on the couch today is sports journalist Clinton van der Berg, who has recently published a quite frankly terrifying book about the scourge of doping in South African sport.  Clinton is an award-winning sportswriter who has covered the local and international sport since the late 1980s, including major events like world championships and Olympic games.   His book is called “Guns and Needles – A Journey into the heart of South Africa’ steroid and drug culture.”
