Coach Luqman Jaaber is the Head Coach and Founder of Basketball And Life Lessons. Basketball And Life Lessons is an organization that grew out of Coach Jaaber's love for basketball and impacting the lives of youth and young adults. A graduate from George Wythe High School in Richmond VA, Coach was The Times-Dispatch Player of the Year as well as the Central Region Player of the Year. Luqman spent his junior year of high school in Morocco, studying the Arabic language and playing with Club Samirs’ basketball team. He was on the all-rookie team in the CIAA while at Virginia State University; however, he finished his college career at Virginia Union University (VUU). During his time at VUU, he was a 2-time all-conference performer, the nation’s steals leader, the nation’s free throw leader, a 2-time scholar-athlete award recipient, a 2-time CIAA Champion, and a National Champion. 

After college, Coach Jaaber went on to play professional basketball in Finland, Saudi Arabia, and in the ABA. He later became the assistant coach at VUU and took over the helm as the head coach a few years later. Coach Jaaber has coached at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. He is currently the National Camp Director for Leaders Of The Hardwood, and Leadersport High School Basketball Camps, which deliver the mission of Basketball And Life Lessons to kids across the country. Coach Jaaber has been married 20+ years, he and his wife have five amazing children. 

Luqman Jaaber founded Basketball and Life Lessons on the principles that have guided his career throughout his life. Through patience and perseverance, Jaaber aims to facilitate a professional-style training and development program that provides youth and adults with quality training using character-building values. All B.A.L.L is a movement that prides itself on preparing youth and adults for success in academics and athletics through education, development, and training. His vision is to build people, build players, and build champions.
