Ho’oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice for healing, forgiveness, and clearing emotional blocks. It’s based on the idea that by healing ourselves, we can transform our relationships and the world around us.
This practice became widely known through the story of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, who worked at a hospital for mentally ill criminals. He didn’t treat the patients face-to-face. Instead, he read their files and repeated the Ho’oponopono prayer within himself:
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”
Over time, patients began to improve one by one until the whole ward was healed!
Dr. Len believed that by taking full responsibility for what he experienced, his inner healing helped shift the energy of those around him.
In this video, I chant the mantra 108 times, allowing you to settle into the rhythm, soften resistance, and invite emotional release.
