A waterfall begins with a drop. This week on the podcast I had the pleasure to talk to one of my very good friends, mentors and kickass women in business, Amelia Veale.
Amelia owns, Narrative Marketing and has had her podcast Be the Drop since 2016. She has seen the podcast industry evolve and supported many clients in the successful launch of their own podcasts; (including me) taking them through idea to production right through to launch and promotion.
More importantly, Amelia say's podcasts allow your customer to multi-task and listen when they are busy. Your audience can even extend beyond borders, which is a lot of potential customers listening and engaging with your brand.
She has created a courageous & purposeful path into the power of story telling. With nearly 300 podcast episodes under her belt, an award winning documentary (Transcending the Gender Narrative) and a successful Marketing business helping many companies uncover and share their unique message via story.
I couldn't think of anyone better to chat to when it comes to all things Podcasts.
In this episode we cover, so many great tips and tools if you're on the edge of deciding when and how to start a podcast, then stay tuned! The power of knowing your why and how this can help you in your podcasts to share the 'right' stories is at the heart of our conversation.
Amelia shares her years of story telling experience saying 'if I want to be impactful and magnetic, you have to have the lens of why I'm doing what I'm doing. And then the really equally important lens for me is why would anybody else care or why would it help them? How does it help them?'
