If you work as a part of a team, or as a team leader, you will encounter various challenges that might result in conflicts with other employees. One of those challenges can be when another team member continuously offers to complete tasks for which you're responsible, they may be trying to take over your work. Working in a team requires that each person consider other members' needs, strengths, and limitations. Occasionally, some people fail to do that, which may result in them taking over other people's work, or worse, the team itself.
Rich and Maikel talk about the team crashers who, for whatever reason, are oblivious to the team boundaries. Join us on this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT

As executive coaches, it is critical to establish a starting point in order to be effective in helping the client develop their leadership styles. After all, prescription before diagnosis is malpractice. In order to establish this starting point, we use an assessment called the Mattone Leadership Enneagram Inventory or the MLEI. What is the MLEI, and how will it forever change your view on leadership development?
Rich and Maikel welcome Sue Ryan to the podcast today to discuss the MLEI. Sue is the Director of Intelligent Leadership Coach Certification & Education for John Mattone Global and a Platinum Elite Executive Coach. Sue is also a Speaker and storyteller, an educator, mentor, author, and caregiver. Her knowledge and expertise span a career of more than 40 years.
Join Sue, Rich, and Maikel as they discuss the MLEI, and why it is a critical, must-have step in your leadership journey.

From famed Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius to the beloved United States President Teddy Roosevelt, some of the most successful leaders throughout history have all shared something in common: a belief in stoicism. This philosophy has become a time-honored one among leaders because its core tenants resonate deeply with the pursuit of excellence, greatness, and success. Motivated leaders latch on to stoic principles as a way to guide themselves, during both good times and bad.
However, there are those that instead of practicing stoicism, defer to playing the victim card. So which type of leader are you?
Rich and Maikel discuss what a stoic leader is on this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.

Winds of change are blowing all through today’s business world, including through the executive suite. In other words, there’s no choice but to face change—not that there ever really was. The difference is that today’s business changes are likelier to be felt at the executive level, which means that leaders must be prepared to be strong right out of the starting gate and maintain strength and agility. It’s not easy. Moreover, teams have to work better, and they have to do so under greater pressure. Emerging leaders must be identified and worked with earlier on to prepare them for the challenges that come with leadership positions today.
Rich and Maikel discuss the must-have ability to face the changes in business leadership on this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.

So ask yourself a simple question, "what exactly are my strengths and weaknesses?"
So often during our coaching, we find those people that think they have a particular knack for some area of leadership. Or someone in their organization promoted them to a leadership role because they saw some promise in that person in a particular area. This then becomes the new leader's main focus on leading people ignoring any other potential areas for improvement because they think that is their key to success. Or worse, they try to continually impress their organization by trying that one trick over and over and over... you get the picture. This leads to burnout, stress, poor performance, lack of versatility, poor timing, quitting their jobs, or involuntary termination from the very organization that promoted them to begin with.
We discuss the importance of understanding your own strengths and weaknesses and how to assess those on this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.

Bold, confident leadership can help drive organizations forward and create growth, something that's undeniably positive. Courageous leaders lead their organizations in authentic and sustainable ways. They stick to their principles, are willing to innovate, take risks, make changes, and won’t walk away when times get tough or things are difficult.
Courageous leaders are able to create a culture of trust and respect, which makes those around them prepared to follow them. This all creates a recipe for an organization's success, development and evolution.
In an article entitled, "8 ways to Develop Your Courageous Leadership," the author, Anne Houston, looks at 8 specific areas that show what courage in leadership truly looks like.
Rich and Maikel unpack each of these 8 areas as we discuss what courage in leadership looks like.
