After a great show with Simple Life Hospitality yesterday, the guys announced the winner of the tips from the Pour Pints for a Purpose event on Wednesday night at Zambaldi Beer. The results: John – $214. Jim- $269. Those tips and other donations went to the Alzheimer’s Walk For A Cure. The meanderings reveal that yesterday was the anniversary of Jim’s engagement to his wife, Dona. It was quite an event—dinner, music, down on one knee. We get Mrs. John Maino on the phone to tell the story of John’s proposal. From turquoise jewelry to throwing an empty beer can out of the car, it’s an instruction manual on how NOT to “pop the question.” Then Lisa Hale joins from NEWisco Weekend to preview this weekend’s show which focuses on pets and animals!
