  • Veteran Suicide Awareness & Pat Tracey

Will Kocken with HOOAH Wisconsin joins the show to discuss Veteran Suicide Awareness. The holiday season is a significant time to check in with our veteran friends and family. While the conversations can be challenging, having them has an effective rate of about 80% for saving lives. Then, the man with all the energy, Pat Tracey with Discover Oshkosh, is in the house to discuss some exciting upcoming events for the holiday season! From their Holly Jolly Holiday Pass to the Celebration of Lights, we're thankful to call Oshkosh home. Then, Maino's son, Dom, joins to clarify a discussion about snorkeling as a child.

  • Mark Husen & The Malcores

Since the boys are off for the rest of the week, Mark Husen joins from Bellin Sports Medicine. While Maino and Nikki and Mark talk about health safety, they also go off the rails and talk about high school mascots and the WIAA. Maino brings up some Thanksgiving trivia that ends with Maino trying to do an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation. We're thankful for Mark, a great friend of the show. Then Tom Rueckl is in for our Moving With The Malcores segment. Tom is the developer of the condos being built right across the street from Northbrook Golf and Grill and is also a financial advisor as well!   They have a couple of recently completed models and will be on the market soon! • Drinksgiving!

Nikki Z. sits in for The Mayor, who travels to New York City with his family. Today is Drinksgiving, Jukebox Day, and Craft Jerky Day. The day started with Nikki giving Maino a quick and deadly dig. The conversation turns to The Mayor's Christmas party, which none of the staff have been informed of the date. Maino talks about snorkeling and the fact that he has never gone. We're thankful for Mark Husen from Bellin Sports Medicine. He is always a welcome face in the studio; this morning, he stops in with bagels!

  • Press Times, Curly Lambeau & Golden House

The senior editor of the Press Times, Kris Leonhardt, joins the guys to talk a bit about the paper, but she also tells us a bit about her new book, which focuses on former Green Bay Packer coach Curly Lambeau. In her book, she truly focuses on Curly Lambeau and less on the sport or the Packers. One of the tidbits she shares is the fact that Curly's father shot his mother right in downtown Green Bay. Her book release is coming up on December 17th at Bosse's Books in DePere. Then John Kirsch visits from Golden House. Golden House provides safety and support for victims of domestic abuse while leading efforts to end domestic violence in Brown County. John hopes to bring awareness to how donations during Giving Tuesday can help fund their work.

  • Uber & Mortgages

A friend of the show, Mike Pritzl, joins via phone to talk about his side hustle as an Uber driver in our community. Jim is always campaigning for folks to make some extra money, especially during the upcoming NFL Draft. Mike has a great take on our community through this work. Yes, we have challenges, but we have many things to celebrate. "It's not rocket science. It costs nothing to be kind". Amen, Mike. Amen. Then Kristen Ambos joins from Point Mortgage to talk about the ever-changing world of home finance. They talk rates, but they also talk points and when it makes sense to refinance.

  • Tuesday Morning Meanderings

Today is Cake Day, and we hear something very shocking from Jim. Apparently, he's not a fan of cake. This news blows away Maino & Todd and the listeners. It may be the most incredible information we've ever heard! Jim's in a good mood because he's going on vacation immediately following the show. (He's actually in a giggly mood!) The guys talk about cuff links, french cuffs, and the fact that Jim needs to put together a finishing school for young men.

  • Victory Monday!

Yes, the Packers won, but it was not exciting. Jim took a nap, and John almost took one. Jim and John have things to take care of this week before the holiday. John needs to get a scope on his gun and get it sighted in. Jim needs to get his piano tuned. Then, the guys talk about winter camping, putting up a Christmas tree before Thanksgiving, and a wrap-up of Saturday's parade. (We had a lot of fun seeing everyone on the route!) The Civic Media Meteorologist joins to chat and give us a preview of this week's forecast!

  • Weekly Best of Maino and the Mayor for Nov 23

In our Football Friday segment, brought to you by Burkel's One Block Over, we featured former Green Bay Packers Dexter McNabb! He was a running back with the Pack back in the early '90s, and after his NFL days, he ended up back in the city and is now the principal at Green Bay West High School. A great conversation on this Football Friday! Then Ashley is in from Height's Pub & Parlor to help kick of the LIVE Music Series featuring Banda Los Locales!
