The All-Star Weekend in South Florida has come and gone, and it doesn't seem like many people cared, including the players.

The Colorado Avalanche had three players represented at the event, Cale Makar, Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon. The boys took part in several of the skills competitions, one in which Makar and Rantanen won, the Splash Shot event.

The Avs representatives did well during the actual game too. Had the Central won the entire thing there was a good chance Nathan MacKinnon could have been named the MVP. But the real question is, were people entertained?

Players were going less than half speed during the game, and a lot of people didn't take to kindly to the slow pace of the skills day and events.

We break it all down and discuss if the league should go in a different direction altogether with the weekend.
