Dr. Jane Goodall is one of the most remarkable people to ever live in this world.

From her one-way ticket to Kenya without a college degree, to discovering Chimps used tools, to saving forests and ecosystems in Africa, changing laws to help animal's habitats and inspiring entire generations, Dr. Jane Goodall made the most of her time here on Earth and left us with an amazing legacy to live by.

She recently had a documentary come out on Youtube that I can't recommend enough.

I was excited to record this one because up until recently I had never fully bought into the pursuit of simplicity. However, over the last 3-4 weeks that has changed.

And because that has changed, I have noticed changes in myself. My mood has improved significantly and a lot of it has to do with doing simple better. The more you have the more that owns you. The faster we can stop the pursuit of more and embrace less, the happier we will be.

It has been a HEAVY last three weeks to say the least. The assassination of Charlie Kirk, Colorado school shooting where two passed, a death at a college in Mississippi and the hundreds of other heartbreaking events that will never see the light of day.

Last week I felt hopeless seeing the reaction to Charlie Kirk's death, both sides screaming at each other and playing the blame game via their screens. I thought what has this world come to?

Then I stepped outside. I saw hope everywhere. Hope in a mom pushing her baby in a stroller on a green way. A group of 2 black guys and a white guy playing golf together, construction workers grinding their butt off in the sun and I realized the reality of life is different than what they show us on our screens.

I hope to encourage people to stay off their screens and social media more than usual as we close out September. I also want to remind people that true courage is not posting your opinion online, true courage is still loving someone that disagrees with you.

Katherine Johnson is one of the most remarkable human-beings I have ever read about and when I was researching for somebody who embodied the lessons I learned from Chris Williamson and Alex Hormozi, her story was too good not to pass up.

If you have seen the movie Hidden Figures then you know who she is but if you're like me then you have no idea what you are about to get into. The only info I'll give you in this description is that without Johnson we would have never launched to space and orbited Earth.

You'll have to listen to learn more about the racial inequalities and walls she had to breakdown and how you can apply her attitude to your own life.
