  • 122 | How to Live as a Purpose Driven Mom and Business Owner with Jennifer McDaniel

Are you ready to make a change in your life?

Have you felt a nudge from God to follow a different path?

Is there something deep inside your spirit that is telling you to take a risk, do something different, and follow your dream?

A year from now would you live to be called a purpose-driven mom?!

Listen to this episode to hear the inspirational story of how my guest, Jennifer McDaniel, took that risk, tried something different, followed God's path, and made her dream happen!

Just a few years ago, Jennifer McDaniel was feeling overwhelmed by family health issues and the struggles of being a stay-at-home mom to 4 kids. She was burnt out from helping everyone and putting everyone else's needs first. She felt like her cup was empty and she had nothing left to give. She decided to put herself first and attended my 2019 Created Order Conference in Charlotte, NC. Getting there wasn't easy, but she knew God had a path for her so she made it happen.

Often times right before you are ready to go to the next level, there will be obstacles to overcome. This is when you learn perseverance. As a mom, we often give into those obstacles or guilt but you have to take time for yourself to hear your inner voice to know where your path should take you. It is important to give yourself time, be calm, stop running, and listen.

You don't have to have all the answers. You can figure it out as you go. Follow where you are guided and the answers will come. I know many of you want to live on purpose and are waiting for everything to be perfectly lined up and have all the answers.

If you have a dream in your heart you need to give yourself permission to try, even if it's a little bit at a time. Surround yourself with women that are highly motivated, and encouraging and you will get there.

Now that Jennifer McDaniel is a purpose-driven mom, she is no longer stuck in the daily mess. She is living intentionally with purpose and you can too!

    • 121 | Amazon Safety Issues Your Family Needs to Know

Amazon’s low price doesn’t mean low risk when it comes to safety issues. When you spend money on Amazon or online retail sites, that low price could put you, or your family, in harm’s way. Most people expect that products bought online are vetted and have gone through testing—but that isn’t necessarily the case.

You can’t rely on companies to keep your family safe from hazardous issues. It’s up to you. Former Amazon safety specialist Rachel Johnson Greer shares the knowledge you need to recognize dangers lurking on your porch in blue-taped Prime boxes. Her brand new book, No Dead Babies: How Amazon Pursues Profit Above Safety And How to Protect Your Family, is filled with startling facts and reports. In this episode, she will open your eyes to the truth about online marketplaces and help you make your living space safe—before suffering a senseless, avoidable tragedy.

        • 120 | Where to Donate Your Stuff Locally

Have you ever wondered how to donate clutter after you have started an organizing project? I know many people automatically give to Salvation Army or Goodwill but today I really want to encourage you to look past these two large nonprofits and look for the smaller agencies in your neighborhood. Places like your local animal shelters like the SPCA, domestic violence programs like the YWCA, and foster care agencies. All of these types of nonprofits have a great need for the stuff that is just sitting in your closets, basements, and attics! Plus, I believe it is so much more motivating when you donate "clutter" to organizations that are close to your heart. Today I share all of my reasons for donating your stuff to the smaller nonprofits and ideas for where to take your items.

Also, I would LOVE it if you would send me your favorite local organizations so that I can add them to the website I am building on the Local Give page of this website. You can email your suggestions to [email protected].
