Repeat after me: it's okay to not be okay, and when I'm not okay, I deserve self love, support, and to show up for myself even if I don't want to.
Thank you for being here on our second car sesh! In this episode, I talk about the second day after my breakup and the steps I'm taking to prioritize my healing and to name the feelings that are coming out during this journey.
... self reflection and growth! These are the themes of this episode. Today I share my experience with substance abuse-- where it stems from, how I learned to face the reality of my use, and how I picked myself up after falling over and over again.
This is a heavy topic that we don't really get a chance to speak on out of fear of being judged, being seen differently, or really because we would rather suffer alone and in silence.
You're not alone in this, let's go through it together <3

What a great way to celebrate V-DAY amIright?
In our first car sesh together, I go through the motions and speak on some of the positive things I had control of doing after finding out about my ex and his dishonesty.
There are many paths we can take when something doesn't go our way, when someone hurts us, etc. but I'm here to help us choose our own peace, to choose the path that leads to self love.

In this episode I share more about me through reflecting on one of my university experiences. I'm going through these experiences to show how e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g we do comes from somewhere, shows our deeply rooted beliefs, and can help us discover more about ourselves!
Moral of the story: NEVER SETTLE and BE TRUE TO YOU by unlearning what we've been indoctrinated to believe.
"We can do hard things" & "They can't scare me if I scare them first" are quotes by Signorina Gaga (Lady Gaga).
So what is this podcast even about? I'm giving you a prelude... it's kinda like speed dating, but we're not going out. It's more so to see if we're a good fit for each other... wait that doesn't sound right either-- anyway, what I'm trying to say is: hi, it's Marc and this episode is to show you what I'm about :)
