Mainstream Charismatic churches are eager to talk about the blessings of God, but what about the curses? Dennis Prager, the founder of PragerU has a new commentary about the book of Deuteronomy. He shares what God was saying to the children of Israel and what He is saying to us today about blessings and curses. “You can’t understand the Old and New Testament if you don’t understand the Torah," Prager says in my Strang Report podcast interview. In our corner of Charismatic Christianity, a lot of preachers teach that God is a good God and He blesses those who serve Him. This scripture is quoted a lot. While that is true, the book of Deuteronomy also gives us another perspective on the curses that follow when we turn away from God.
