This is our Malaysia Day special and we’re calling it Open From Borneo. Malaysia as we know today would have never existed without the inclusion of Sabah and Sarawak on the 16th of September 1963. These two states from the east have always set an example of unity among different races and Mother Nature’s love to our planet. So what is it like building a business in the East and taking that journey to the West? In this series, we’ll be featuring 4 entrepreneurs that have taken those steps not only within the Malaysian region, but also around the world. On this episode, we're featuring “AJ” Lias Mansor and Emily Barner from Borneo Tribal Squad. Together, they conduct martial arts classes, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Muay Thai to a close-knit community of students in Sabah.
