Paul reluctantly crawls back onto YouTube after nearly a year off, this time dragging his best mate Justin along for the ride – because let’s face it, he needed someone to make it vaguely interesting.
Justin joins Paul again this week, which means Paul didn’t have to sit there talking to himself—thankfully. They both covered a lot, from general frustration with career prospects (or lack of them) to why Paul can’t bring myself to support Scotland, Ireland, or Wales in sport. Let’s just say their deep-seated hatred for the English makes it pretty easy.
Justin wanted to have a deep, mind-expanding conversation about time and space, but honestly, Paul found it painfully dull—which somehow became the perfect thumbnail material. Meanwhile, they’ve fully embraced injecting classic 80s TV adverts into the podcast every 20 minutes, mostly because they’re more entertaining than the hosts.
They also got into a proper debate about the minimum wage. Justin thinks it’s necessary; Paul think it’s a disaster. No surprises there.
It’s another episode of Man on the Sofa, where both Paul and Justin dive into whatever comes up and try to make sense of it all.
In today’s episode of Man on the Sofa, Paul will be tackling a mix of big questions and personal insights. Is the NHS broken beyond repair? I’ll share personal experiences and news highlights. Are vitamins actually doing anything, or is it all a scam? I’ll talk about my fitness regime and what’s working. We’ll also touch on web design tips, from open graph to SEO, and why continual learning is a must.

In this episode of Man on the Sofa, we tackle the big questions in life: Why does a man need his own space? How do you really wipe your backside? And can a bidet truly change your life?
Paul takes aim at the state of the UK (spoiler: it’s not pretty), why the Home Office doesn’t deserve a pay rise, and the ongoing obsession with GDP at any cost.
Justin shares his vision of a utopia, which turns out to be… a decent holiday.
We also chat about getting older and enjoying the small things, like Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing, why talking on the phone is the worst, and how Christmastime off is a massive-missed opportunity.
It’s a mix of laughs, rants, and surprisingly useful life advice. Join us for a no-holds-barred discussion of the world as we see it – from the comfort of the sofa.
In this episode of Man on the Sofa, we dive into the chaos of modern living – from the horror of shared toilets and piss-covered seats to the tragic decline of parenting standards. Paul airs his frustrations with Reform UK and why the Shamima Begum debate was the final straw. Justin shares his thoughts on racial slurs, dreaming of prison guard glory (or not), and why he loves everyone – even if appearances say otherwise. Oh, and did you know working-class folks rocked three-piece suits in the 1800s? Class is dead, mate. Pull up a chair, and let’s get into it.

Paul talks about the day job, Abdul Ezedi, the UK countryside being racist, England rugby Vs Wales in the six nations and the Apple TV show Masters of the Air.
Paul tries to explain what has happened to the lack of channel output over the last month or so.
Christmas films are mostly the same, The magic of Christmas, whatever the f that means. Redemption and forgiveness, why? And romance, boring. So when you have Santa fighting off an assassination attempt, you have to pay attention.
We’ll talk about Gremlins! That’s right, it is a Christmas movie since the events played out in it feature around Christmas Eve and there is a shit load of snow, real or fake makes no difference to me!
True Romance is, first and foremost, entertaining. It’s a ridiculous story with unlikely situations and unbelievable relationships but it’s fun to watch and, let's face it, with most modern movies, there's not a lot of fun to be had these days.
