Choose starting conversation over the cheap high of scoring social points.

Who are the noble poor? Why do we choose to view life through a keyhole? How will polymaths persevere and lead as global crises and resentments converge and deepen?

The time is ripe for updating and defining new mental and social structures as technology continues to unsettle and enhance us. It's therefore essential to think and to talk meaningfully. We must leave behind the low-level discourse and petty satisfactions of attacking symbolic enemies.

In the main part of the episode Sarah and I talk about how men and women can wonderfully complement or abuse each other. We start with Incels and the effects of inequality of sexual access with appearance-only hookup culture.

We address how deeper meaningful relationships are more layered and actualizing than the reductive sex-for-resources arithmetic of the cynical. We hop to a vital conversation that must occur openly: family abuse. Incestual molestation and rape by a trusted relative would blow the Catholic Church scandal out of the water and scandalize another sacred institution--the nuclear family.

After briefly mentioning polygamy and sex-trafficking we close by talking about how men tend toward the development of the individual self and women toward the social self. Each of us must have both selves for complete, meaningful lives and functional societies.

To this end, the male ego and female social manipulation must be tamed.

Sarah and I start with a callback to our previous episodes by connecting the military industrial complex back to the demographic and technological changes producing a rise in white supremacy.

For the bulk of this episode we talk about how this situation is inflamed further by two sociopolitical groups borrowing heavily from cult and hive mind:

First is the concerning blend of narcissism, persuasion, phobia, confusion and information control tactics used by Donald Trump and his insular support network.

Second is the mobbing, dismissal, shaming, deference and moralizing of those that claim the mantle of social justice. By lobbying beyond social recognition and equality for racial, gender and sexual group pride, the collateral damage has been the emboldening of propaganda efforts for white pride.

Bottom line: Can we admit that both ignorant bigotry and deference in the name of political correctness are intellectually lazy and demoralizing phenomena? I hope so.
