College football recently started up, evidenced by my sports twitter feed and the start and end notifications I got on my phone. And college athletes really need a union or something similar so they can protect themselves from million or billion dollar industries that are profiting off the free labor of college students. They have no business playing in the middle of a pandemic when they are not paid professionals.
This episode, we're talking about CLAMP's Chobits published by Kodansha (previously published by Tokyopop and Dark Horse), then we talk about Hebi-Zou and Tsuta Suzuki (writers) and Tarako's (art) Heaven's Design Team published, also published by Kodansha.

The Clippers lost a game they should have won against the Denver Nuggets, because they seem to have given up in the third and fourth quarters defensively, and offensive bounces weren't going their way. Here's to a Sunday win.
This episode, I have a special guest, Randy (@ChandyRan) with me to talk about Boom Studios' Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic!
The creative team for these comics include Kyle Higgins and Marguerite Bennett (written); Hendry Prasetya, Thony Silas, and Daniel Bayliss, Daniele Di Nicuolo, Jonas Scharf, Jagdish Kumar, Simona Di Gianfelice, Diego Galindo, Simone Di Meo, Alessandro Cappuccio, Alessio Zonno, French Carlomagno, Francesco Mortarino (illustrated); Matt Herms, Bryan Valenza, Joana Lafuente, Sigi Ironmonger, Walter Baiamonte, Marcelo Costa, Francesco Segala, Eleonora Bruni, Whitney Cogar (colors); Ed Dukeshire (letters). I'm sure there are some I missed or overlooked (a lot of the covers are also done by different artists), but these are the main people listed in each comic in the first 10 trades, which is what we mainly talk about in the episode.

The White Sox chased away the first of the Detroit Tigers' hopeful new tandem of pitching aces, Tarik Skubal, a bit ago as I write this. And tomorrow, they get the next in Casey Mize. I'm very excited(?) to watch the White Sox trying in futility to hit both of these top prospects.
This episode, our 69th (nice), Pat and Grant join me to talk about One Piece, from Impel Down – Paramount War (or Marineford, or Summit War, whatever you prefer)! Listen to our previous episodes on East Blue – Alabasta, Skypeia – Thriller Bark, and Thriller Bark – Amazon Lily too.
Spoilers abound for those who have not read these arcs. And light spoilers for stuff after the time skip.
We talked about Ivankov, including the okama and LGBTQ+ representation in One Piece, and I will say off the top that none of us are really the best folks to talk about those topics. So here's some further reading: The Dichotomy of Queerness in One Piece, Problematic faves: One Piece, One Piece and Queer Theory. That's just a very cursory Googling; if you have more articles or tweet threads or whatever, drop them in the comments, tweet them at the podcast, I'll add them here.
