Spencer and Lee break down the penultimate episode of Ted Lasso. A few notes on this one- Lee lost the initial recording, so you're hearing a version 2 of this particular episode (which is also why the pod is a few days late- SORRY!)... also, the guys *didn't love* this episode. In any case, a fun episode to discuss. Also in this one, Lee explains why Fields of Dreams is Kiss.

The mood is more positive this week as the show takes on Roy/ Keeley, A League of their Own, sports injuries, All The President's Men, hostile corporate takeovers, and what else motivates the Lady Greyhounds (besides "Believe"). The guys continue to praise Tonya Reynold's portrayal of Coach Alice Chilton and they've even come around on Rebecca. A good Sportscenter Top 10 this week with an Academy Awards guessing game.

Warning: Lee *did not* enjoy this episode and doesn't hold back. Spencer attempts to balance the pod with some positivity but that's not his natural state. Some great criticism in this one, but if you enjoyed the episode, be warned... the guys had qualms.

It's the return of Jamie Tartt!!! Spencer and Lee had *completely* different reactions to this episode. Spencer comes in with boxing gloves taped up, on-brand unhappy with the course of the season. Meanwhile, it seems Lee took a dose of Lasso and would like to focus on the positive. Great discussion from two guys who have definitely jumped around in the house of pain.

Spencer and Lee dive into the pen-penultimate episode of the Apple TV+ series "Silo." The have a *significant* amount of notes for one of the timelines, and they have a lot of questions about the lightbulb/murder/ whatever-it-is plot line in Silo 18. At the end, Lee does a book-spoilers-up-to-now segment to drive home just how far afield this show as drifted from the source material (not that there's anything wrong with that).
