Spencer and Lee review the *emotional* penultimate episode of season 2 of "The Last of Us." Next week, we'll be doing the long form episode to review the finale.
Apologies about the sound intro of the mixing- if you skip ahead 30 seconds, the rest of the episode is normal.
Let us know what you think! We love feedback about the pod, your thoughts about the show, discussions about the quality of TLOU vs Severance, or emails telling Lee he's a moron. All feedback is welcome! facebook.com/mangumtalks or [email protected]
Spencer and Lee did not... feel the love this episode. They were both fairly down on the episode but had a great conversation about why they feel that way. The break down the episode, what what has worked/ hasn't worked so far this season and what they expect in the final two episodes. Plus, Lee reads listener mail and gives an update on his new dog!

Spencer and Lee break out the long format of the podcast to review season 2, episode 4, scene-by-scene and line-by-line. Spencer leads the longest recap in podcasting this week, while Lee tries to distract him and bizarrely builds a case against Dina. Fun episode and hope it brightens your day (as much as a prolonged discussion about the apocalypse can do that).

Spencer and Lee pick up the pieces after last week. They review episode three, hitting on underlying themes of the show, macro-environmental vs interpersonal plot tension, acceptance vs personal responsibility, and varied presentations of grief and needs of the grieving. Lots of Theory Time with Lee throughout this one.
Next week will be a long-form pod, with Spencer leading the recap. Send your questions and thoughts about this season to [email protected]
Spencer and Lee review a HUGE episode of The Last of Us. In this one, all hell breaks loose and Spencer and Lee try to pick up the pieces. This is a short form pod but we still have a lot to say. Whew.

Spencer and Lee return to the end of the world! The Last of Us is (finally) back with season 2! They get reacquainted with the story, review episode 1, award "Best Line" and debut a new segment "Therapy Time with Lee"! Fun episode all around.
This episode follows our "short form" format. During our coverage of TLOU season 2, we will record at least two "long form" format episodes, with one being the finale. Let us know what you think- [email protected] and facebook.com/mangumtalks
Spencer and Lee return to their original format to review the finale of Severance, Season 2, "Cold Harbor."

Severance is back this week with an episode Lee and Spencer both thoroughly enjoyed. They start by announcing that next week's podcast will return to the previous MTTV format of a line-by-line recap. Then they dive into the episode, discussing plot points, defining what "a Spencer" is (Lee defines it), and they round out with the weekly segments.

Lee is still struggling with his voice this week but he's able to check-in with Spencer on the latest episode of Apple TV's "Severance." Coming off the all-time high of last week, they both feel a bit... uninspired with the episode this week. But it does lead to a great conversation. If you're wondering, Spencer has never huffed ether.

Thanks for listening!
We're back! Lee's voice is clearly not 100% in this one, but he gave it a go anyway. Spencer and Lee dive into episodes 6 and 7 of season 2 of 'Severance.' They liked episode 6 (they really did) but they *loved* episode 7. Great conversation. Thank you for your patience as Lee has struggled to get his voice back.

Also, if you're enjoying the pod, a good review will make Spencer's day... maybe.
