Exodus:  Extensive directions given Moses by God were followed to create the priestly garments.  The tabernacle is erected and the glory of God filled it, God only left it when the people were to move and returned when they were to stop.

Mark:  Jesus is giving more parables to mature those whose faith is growing in Him.

Exodus:  God gives Moses a detailed description of the bronze alter, court of the tabernacle and the garments for the priests.  

Mark:  Jesus casts out demons and heals the sick along with a leper who He then orders to tell no one.  

Exodus:  God gives all the details for the construction of the tabernacle and its contents to Moses.

Mark:  God's Holy Son Jesus, coming from heaven is announced by John the Baptist and baptized by John according to the Law.  Directly afterward Jesus goes into the wilderness for forty days and afterwards begins selecting His disciples. 

Exodus:  God gives Moses the Law.  The people affirm their covenant with God and promises to guide, protect and bless them if they remail=n faithful to Him.  God writes the 10 Commandments on the stone tablets.  

Matthew:  Jesus Is Risen and gives the eleven disciples the great commission to go and make disciples.
