This week Kat is joined by Meghan, aka Sassy from Middle Green, to discuss the first half of Stephen King's On Writing. Stephen King gives us a rundown of his life framed around writing from his traumatic childhood through his late 90's adult self.

The book surprised both with the amount of not writing in the beginning and this episode got a little long. Part 1 covers the Many Forwards and the CV while Part 2, which will be released Thursday, 9/19, will cover the actual writing advice we've received so far.

We are cracking open Jack and the Overlook to have a peek inside. The Torrances and the spirits of the hotel are starting to truly settle in for the winter. The first snow hasn't quite hit so the family is afforded a few more escapes down to Sidewinder for supplies, a medical check up, and a rather poorly thought out phone call.

In the TTRPG system, dice crimes are considered especially heinous. In Middle Green the dedicated players do no investigation, ask no questions, and immediately throw these dice in jail. This is one of those stories.

Middle Green is preparing for Miss Betsy's Annual Murder Mystery Masquerade. Adults have costumes to finish and kids have to get all their summer day in before the party starts.

The Winchester sisters are off to start by renting a couple movies for the night, but they come across the town bullies, Stanley and Wally, who are acting distinctly not themselves. But not to fear Lemon and Hearse are on the job! Trying to sort out just what had happened to the boys in the hours they'd gone missing by chatting with some locals gathering all the tea, sangria, and rumors.

Episode 19! 19! NINETEEN!

We're nearly a year in and we hit our 19th episode. This week we're pausing our read of It so we can try to bring some Nineteen energy.

Kat is going over her psycho-analysis theory of Stephen King based on the Dark Tower. We're talking about morality within the King-verse looking back over all the books we've read to this point. Then Taryn is going to give us some predictions for what they expect to see as we continue our reading journey.

Also! We are officially launching our Patreon! You may have already seen the link in the description while we worked out some kinks but now we're going to be more actively posting and utilizing it.
