We are playing Kids on Bikes, a collaborative TTRPG written and created by Jon Gilmour & Doug Levandowski and distributed by Hunters Entertainment.

Content Warnings: negligent parents, bullying, sexual content, sexual content involving minors,  substance use, the supernatural, witches, zombies, the dead, death, the 80s

It's June 21st, 1985 and if there's one thing we've gathered from Stephen King its that young girls are powerful and terrifying.

In this thrilling kick off to our Kid On Bikes playthrough, Taryn and Meghan are transported back to the neon-lit streets of the 1980s, where an eerie mystery unfolds beneath the summer moon. Well neon-lit is an exaggeration, those are the in the city, which Middle Green is not.

The story kicks off in a small town nestled among tall pines, where the arrival of summer brings a sense of anticipation and excitement. However, this year, things take a turn for the weird when a local boy claims to have a chat with a dead girl. The Winchester twins can be described by the three Ws: weed, weird, and witches.

As the town gathers for its summer kickoff concert at the local bowling alley, the town bullies are pestering anyone they can, not so funny class clown Tommy Lightbringer is bragging about chatting up a girl, and the Winchester twins are looking for the exit.

Amidst the summer nights and chorus of crickets, the players' characters find themselves drawn into a curious mystery that will lead them to the old graveyard, but they must slink past all the adults first.

Filled with intrigue and 80s nostalgia, this first Kids on Bikes session promises a hilarious reminder of how much it sucks to be 13.

Hey Lobsters! We have a slight change in our upcoming planned programming.

We want to put together a great Episode 19 because you gotta... So our It discussion will resume with episode 20.

But we gotta finish putting together Episode 19 so next week we will be releasing our first installment of our Kids on Bikes game (yea... that's right the prophecy of Episode 18 has come to pass) next week instead of a reading episode.

We finish up Chapter 4 The Slow Mutants and got SO close to the end of Chapter 5 The Gunslinger and the Man in Black before we hit another hard stopping reference.

In this episode we share stories of things found, Kat's love of Twitch drag queen streamer Leidy Lei,  and the effects of giant hamster balls on Middle Earth.

We do manage to finally reach the tarot reading in The Gunslinger so buckle up for a deep dive of the reading the Man in Black gives Roland to the best of our ability.
