The Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Washington Capitals in their home opener in the second half of a back-to-back. To get you ready for the game, David Morassutti is joined by Dan Holmi from Locked on Capitals to get some insight into the team. They go through the changes the Capitals made this offseason and the players who won't be in the lineup including Tom Wilson and Nick Backstrom and how they feel about Darcy Kuemper taking over in net. David then gives his thoughts on the Leafs and what has held them back from taking the next steps as contenders, their blue line and the new goaltending tandem of Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov who the Capitals know all too well. To end the show, both David and Dan go through their projections and outlooks for both of their teams this season.
