MAPS Global Podcast

In this episode, we have Chris Carter, Vice President of Care and Development at MAPS Global, join us once again to discuss our approach to holistic health and spirituality. This is part 1 of a two-part conversation focused on the traps of hyper-spirituality and hyper-carnality in the Body of Christ. We break down what we mean by "the God of all of life" and our pursuit of Him here on earth.

The following is a sermon from R.A. Martinez taken from our MAPS Family Gathering. In this week's episode, R.A. Martinez and Leah Mix revisit a beloved topic here at MAPS Global, the man named Barnabas. One of the most influential characters in the early church, not much is discussed about his life, yet arguably the relationship between Barnabas and Paul was one of the most influential friendships in history. The life of the young Apostle Paul was completely changed by having a father and a friend who believed in him.

WE ARE BACK!! And what better way to reset than going back to the beginning? In this episode, we revisit the subject of our very first podcast where we talked about ANTIOCH. There was so much to say about this amazing church in Acts 11 and 13 that we had to make this discussion two parts! In Part 1 we look to the history and timeline of the book of Acts leading to the birth of the church in Antioch and how it became the New Testament "Sending Center". Make sure to stay tuned for Part Two where we break down the 10 characteristics that made this church a prototype for modern day "Sending Centers" that God is raising up across the earth!

Merry Christmas! We hope you are enjoying this holiday season. We are going to end the year with an episode about the power of gratitude. R.A. Martinez and Leah Mix sit down and have a conversation on the supernatural power of gratitude and the danger of complaining. They will give you an inside look into the fun ways they practice this value within MAPS culture as well as the back story behind the saying, "Gratitude opens the door, for me to receive more. Complaining shuts the door!"
