Marcus Today End of Day Report -Tuesday 20th July

ASX 200 fought back from a big early drop to close down 34 points to 7252. A long way from its 7205 low as bargain hunters stepped in. Dow Futures up 120 points. Banks flat after ANZ announced a $1.5bn buy back. STO and OSH appear to have had some merger talks with OSH rejected the approach and the stock rallying strongly as STO slipped away on oil price falls. BHP production report saw a 2.5% fall and Z1P had a good day on takeover speculation. 

10-year bond yields under pressure again as was the AUD and Crypto.

European markets expected to open better after a drubbing yesterday.
