ASX 200 closes up 37 points to 7431 in another record breaking Gold medal performance. Banks and big miners leading the charge. Good results from TPW and BSL helped set the scene and once again NSW's record CV19 cases were shrugged off. 

Dow futures down 76 points and European futures expected to open flat ahead of a big night of US earnings.
