ASX closes up 25 to 7503. Mixed session on low volumes and a narrow trading range. Big miners in the spotlight on capital management hopes and a bottom in iron ore, plus lithium stocks continuing to push higher. PLS up 4.6% and ORE up 0.7%. VUL a stand out up 15.9% after being assigned a zero carbon rating, in theory at least. 

Asian market slightly positive and European markets set to follow US higher.
