In this episode, actress and producer Marilu Henner speaks with Dr. Correa about her experience with Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM). She shares how her ability to recall every memory throughout her life has taught her valuable lessons and discusses how the condition has propelled her to advocate for brain research. Dr. Correa is then joined by Dr. Craig Stark, professor at the University of California, Irvine’s Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory. Dr. Stark explains more about HSAM and discusses memory habits that everyone can incorporate into their own lives.
