The life-saving effort to ban abortions at the city level is spreading across the country.
On Tuesday, the village of Hayes Center became the first in Nebraska to pass a Sanctuary for the Unborn ordinance and the 24th in the nation. Twenty-three cities in Texas have passed enforceable ordinances outlawing abortion within their city limits. This means that, by city ordinance, babies can never be murdered by abortion in any of these cities because abortion is banned.
On today’s show, Mark interviews Mark Lee Dickson of Right to Life of East Texas who drafted the ordinances and is leading the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn movement.
If you would like to see your city pass an ordinance outlawing abortion within your city limits, go to: https://sanctuarycitiesfortheunborn.com.

Did you know that Roe v. Wade was argued twice before the US Supreme Court? Did you know that the story of Roe v. Wade is wrapped up in conspiracy?
On this episode of The Mark Harrington Show, Mark interviews actor and producer Nick Loeb.
Dr. Bernard Nathanson and Dr. Mildred Jefferson square off in a national battle in this untold conspiracy that led to the most famous and controversial court case in history.
The film begins with Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, who launched an initiative called “The Negro Project.” She gives a speech at a KKK rally, describing her intentions to reduce the growth of the African American population by legalizing abortions. Quickly, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, the most outspoken doctor performing abortions during this time, joins her cause, followed by outspoken feminist Betty Friedan. A team of activists begin to search the country, looking for a pregnant girl they can use to sue the government for her right to have an abortion. They find the perfect pawn: a young woman with a 10th grade education, struggling with poverty and other issues, named Norma McCorvey, now famously known as “Jane Roe We watch as Norma and her legal team sue Henry Wade, the district attorney of Dallas County.

Now that the activists successfully had the case before both state and federal courts, they had to convince the Supreme Court Justices to vote their way. Their advocates fed fake polls and statistics to the media, and Bernard and Betty Friedman from Planned Parenthood even brought Hollywood on board, persuading studio executives to create TV shows and movies supporting abortion. This was all done to influence public opinion and manipulate the courts.
There were a few citizens willing to speak up for the rights of the unborn. This fight is led by the film’s protagonist, Dr. Mildred Jefferson, the first African American woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School. She joined the Catholics and a passionate group of other citizens who attempt to educate Americans on the truth, but they soon discover they are up against the most well-funded revolution in 20th century America.

Did you know that your stimulus check is tainted with the blood of the unborn? Knowing that can Christians receive the money with a clear conscience?
Recently, the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan of 2021 was signed into law by President Biden. For the first time Hyde protections were removed from a COVID relief package. Co-chair of the House Pro-Life Caucus, Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) called the bill “a radical departure from all previous COVID-19 relief laws.”
However, the current package includes neither of those pro-life protections. Pro-life groups have warned that global health funding, health insurance subsidies, and funding of the Title X program could go to elective abortions, abortion coverage, and pro-abortion groups.
In his remarks on the House Floor on Friday evening, the co-chair of the House Pro-Life Caucus, Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), called the exclusion of pro-life language “a radical departure from all previous COVID-19 relief laws,” and one which “mandates taxpayer funding of abortion-on-demand."
In his floor remarks, Smith noted that President Biden once supported pro-life protections against abortion funding.
“Mr. Biden once wrote constituents explaining that his support for laws against funding for abortion by saying it would 'protect both the woman and her unborn child,’” Smith noted.
Question: Instead of spending the stimulus money on something frivolous, why not donate your check to Created Equal? Further, should Christians pay their income taxes if Congress

Mark asks Nancy:
• What do you think is the greatest threat in the Equality Act?
In Love Thy Body: Answering Hard Questions about Life and Sexuality, Pearcey goes beyond politically correct talking points to offer a riveting exposé of the dehumanizing secularist ethos that shapes the critical moral and socio-political issues of our day.

On today’s episode, Linda Harvey will discuss the Equality Act.
Albert Mohler, President of Southern Seminary, stated that the “Equality Act represents the greatest present threat to religious liberty. It represents the greatest threat to religious liberty in the United States in our lifetimes.”
The bill criminalizes opposition to the gender dysphoria that is being forced down our throats.
• What is the relationship between the Equality Act and the 1964 civil rights law?
An excellent analysis of this bill can be found here: https://albertmohler.com/2021/03/17/briefing-3-17-21
Make no mistake about it the Equality Act is aimed right at free speech and the church.

Joan Andrews Bell was arrested more than 100 times over the course of two decades. She also spent more than two years in prison for blocking the entrances of abortion clinics or entering clinics to disable the plugs of suction machines.
Joan Andrews Bell, whose two-year stay in a Florida prison pricked the conscience of the American pro-life movement, helped to trigger the series of blockades at abortion centers staged by Operation Rescue in the late 1980s.
Joan’s five-year sentence gained national headlines when she was placed in solitary confinement for refusing to promise to stop rescuing and for failing to cooperate with the prison schedule. She even declined a mattress for her cot and slept on the concrete floor. The only person she could see was a priest, who brought her communion.
The legitimate subject of pro-life lore, she has been the occasion of two books:
You Reject Them, You Reject Me: The Prison Letters of Joan Andrews, a compilation of writings during her 31 months in a Pensacola prison, and
I Will Never Forget You: The Rescue Movement in the Life of Joan Andrews.
Mark interviews Joan about her past and present rescues and asks her why she must be willing to risk prison time to defend children. Also, Mark discusses her husband Chris’ ministry, Good Counsel Homes, which has five live-in facilities in the New York tri-state area for pregnant women in crisis.

Jill Stanek had been working for a year at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, as a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department, when she heard that they were aborting a second-trimester baby with Down’s syndrome. She was completely shocked. In fact, she had specifically chosen to work at Christ Hospital because it was a Christian hospital and not involved, so she thought, in abortion.
And so, this began Jill Stanek’s story of witnessing an “induced labor abortion.”
Jill shares the story of one night, a nursing co-worker was taking a Down’s syndrome baby who was aborted alive and sent to the “Soiled Utility Room” to die. Jill could not bear the thought of this suffering child dying alone, so she cradled and rocked him for 45 minutes.
After he was pronounced dead, she folded his little arms across his chest, wrapped him in a tiny shroud, and carried him to the hospital morgue where all the dead patients are taken.
After she held that baby, the weight of what she knew became too much for her to bear. That experience led to a 2-1/2 year battle with the hospital. After which, she was fired.
Several weeks ago, Mark interviewed Melissa Ohden who survived her abortion.
Today, Mark speaks with Jill who held in her arms a precious baby that was killed by a live abortion. Jill also discusses what has happened since to protect babies born alive after failed abortion attempts.
Jill’s willingness to speak out has led to a national discussion of the savagery of the abortion cartel.
