In 1977, the small town of Jacksonville, Alabama was shaken when a young couple, Donna Tucker & Mark Martin were attacked by a gunman in Germania Springs Park. This was a huge escalation to a series of similar crimes on young people in this town. There were no suspects until a local named John Ellis Sparks gave ABI agents plenty of reasons to suspect him. Unfortunately, they realize it's not that cut and dry when the crimes continue to happen after his arrest. This is a twisty tale... I almost got through it without crying.
