What are some key things you can do regardless of where you're at in your business or marketing journey that will set you up for success?
Well I hate to say it, but it's the boring stuff...
Those crucial unsexy elements like setting up systems, processes and of course... mapping out your strategy to determine what you need and the direction you want to be headed.
No point jumping in a car and driving with no destination in mind... (I mean there is when you're on holidays sure... but not when you're trying to save fuel and get somewhere.)
Having a solid marketing strategy in place is essential.
Before jumping into the fun stuff like designing your logo or choosing Instagram colours, it's key to map out your customer journey, set up your CRM, and establish your nurture sequences.
From understanding your messaging to planning your social media posts and email campaigns, this episode is packed with actionable insights to help you streamline your marketing efforts and avoid common pitfalls.
Make sure no customer gets lost, and every touchpoint adds value.

When was the last time you took stock of the activities you do in your business and measured the success of them? (Marketing or otherwise.)
Today I am taking you through one of the first things I do when I sit down with business owners, that is the 'stop, start and continue method'
This method helps align marketing efforts with business goals and to assess the effectiveness of current practices.
By identifying tasks that should be started, stopped, or continued, you can optimise their strategies for better results.
The main habits I see needing some tough love? Frequent social media postings or excessive emails, be honest with yourself about what is truly working.

It's the last episode for 2024!!
How did we get here so quickly?
It wouldn't be the final episode of the year if I didn't spend time reflecting on the year that was, and yapping about some predictions for the year ahead!
Major trends I saw this year?
The shifting from digital to real-world connections, personalized email marketing, and brand authenticity.
Yep who else saw the rise of in-person events and the decline in the effectiveness of overly salesy pitches, online courses, and the continuing relevance of email and SEO?
Also the stats are telling us - people are spending less time on social media platforms!
Most excitedly - there's a rise in brand marketing... an absolutely lost form of marketing!
So marketers, business owners I urge you in 2025 to think beyond social media and invest in a strong brand strategy.
I'm going to share my plans and hopes for 2025, while encouraging you to review your 2024 strategies and prepare for the year ahead.
