I've always believed that life is a journey that comes with many detours and obstacles on our way towards our final destination. We often focus on the final destination instead of enjoying the journey that we're on. This journey will never be smooth-sailing, but that's the beauty in life. I want to encourage you to focus on enjoying life to the fullest; and bask in the joy of life, knowing you lived it with complete freedom and all that it comes with it; as one day, it will all be but a dream.

Having standards these days can be misguiding to how people sees you but it is the secret to self love. Nothing is greater than knowing yourself and setting standards on how people treat you. This is beneficial on so many levels as not only are you creating a certain level of self respect but also the way people value you. Set some standards and stand on them, don't bend to please no one because at the end of the day your happiness comes first!

There is so much power in letting go off the past in order to enjoy the future; I know it’s hard but it MUST be done. Life is never meant to be perfect and sometimes our traumas are meant to be the best part of our journey. However; for some people they are stuck on the negative side of the trauma and instead of embracing it they dwell on it. In addition forgiveness to the people who hurt us is equally important in having a successful future. I hope after finishing this episode we will find space in our hearts to forgive, accept and let it all go.
