Social media offers so many benefits, but to be honest, it causes a lot more problems than it's worth. When it comes to mood, self-esteem and mental health in general, social media has so many negative impacts on us, and we need to learn how to be mindful of our limits and how to manage our social media consumption. You can absolutely have healthy social media consumption, but you need to make sure you're taking the right steps to support that.

A friend of mine shared this quote on Facebook, and it is the topic of today's episode:
"People will call it 'holding grudges.' I'm calling it 'I saw who you are, and I'm not unseeing it."
-Unknown-
There is a different between holding a grudge and setting a boundary, and today I'll share with you my thoughts on how to set a boundary with people when you see them for who they really are.

Taking a break from our Identity Series to talk about Valentine's Day! You all know how much I love relationships, but you'll be surprised to know that I don't care much for Valentine's Day. Don't get me wrong...I like Valentine's day, I think it's perfectly fine and a sweet holiday, but it's not an important holiday for me. Let me tell you why, and how Valentine's day, for some relationships is limiting. I'll tell you what I wish people in relationships who celebrate Valentine's day would do differently.

Identity development begins very early on in life, and continues throughout ones entire life. Today I'll break down what this means, and how life's vast experiences influence identity development throughout childhood and into adolescence and then into adulthood.

I have a new series for you, and I'm so excited about it! We are going to spend the next few weeks talking about Identity: Who you are and what makes you that person. There's a chance you might realize you don't know yourself as well as you think you do, and that you need to do some work on that. So tune in to learn all about this and to continue to do the work to be a better person and have a better idea of who you are.
