Ah, that sweet smell of another shawarma cooked. To finish off this season, Matt and Leanor talk about Thundercats (again), Morningstar breakfast sausages, and Steve's weird obsession with licorice jellybeans. Also, somehow Hawkeye was buried in licorice jellybeans and no one's quite sure how it happened. Later on, Colossus goes to a science fair to talk bacon volcanoes, potato-battery-powered death rays, large Hadron colliders, and his life as a baby. Web-swing on by next week for a new season and a special surprise!

In this episode, Marvel Shawarma tells the listeners about many VERY IMPORTANT THINGS, such as: Thundercats and its link to Thunderbolts, how Bucky Barnes thinks chest hair grows, and the fact that Red Skull is *not*, I repeat, *not* dead. Then they move on to Storm, who decided to go to the beach but didn't bet on Randy - the surf shop man, Bagpipes - her old college friend, or her three traveling minstrels - Dweebo, Dorkus, and Nerdita.

To start you off right in the New Year, Marvel Shawarma makes sure to dish out something special. First we talk about different New Year traditions around the galaxy, including: the Kree homeworld, Sakaar, and Knowhere. Then we dive into a deep discussion about Marvel Masterworks: Fantastic Four vol. 1, and just what good ol' J.J.J. would do when the Invisible Woman saves the Fantastic Four. *gasp* Soon after, the Grandmaster, Thor, Doug's liquified remains, Valkyrie, and someone who is apparently Korg all hold a solemn ceremony for the death of Topaz. For our last segment, Leanor's horrible German accent will escort you through a rollercoaster of neighbors, from the T. Rex owner who is actually Kurt from the future to none other than Bobby Drake himself. Wow. That's a really long description.

Happy holidays! To commemorate another Christmas (and soon, another year!) gone by, Marvel Shawarma presents you with a discussion of just exactly what Wolverine would say when he gets on Santa's lap. Matt and Leanor also ramble on about: the board game Marvel Villainous, how to slice The Thing in half, and what his name would be if he was sliced in half. Also! The Guardians of the Galaxy make an appearance in the first segment to mourn the passing of both Ego the planet and Ego the plant. (Bonus - the 'coincidence' of the sentient hair continues - Wolverine's chest hair makes a short speech!)

This week, Leanor and Matt discuss the Essential Punisher Vol. 1, along with Bruce Banner and - sadly - the late Emil Blonsky, aka Abomination. There's also a secret link between our two segments today - in the first, we have General Ross' talking mustache, Jimmy, and in the second there is Randy, Professor X's one and only hair - also talking. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

To be quite honest, we will not begrudge you if you decide to mosey on over to the second segment first, cuz that was where the going really got good. For the beginning, we have a mediocre discussion about the annoyingly-Nicholas-Cagey movie Ghost Rider, and an interesting eulogy dedicated to everyone's friend, and definitely the most memorable villain...Yellowjacket. But the episode really kicks off in the role-play segment, where Warren Worthington III goes to ChickNuggShop (not KFC!) and orders him some delicious chick nuggs. Or does he?

Peanut Pie returns to Marvel Shawarma to talk Marvel Funko Pops, the sound that quails make, and Tony Stark's obsession with cheeseburgers. Then Matt and Leanor roleplay Beast having a great time at library - except for when his follicles get agitated. There's also a surprise appearance from - Toad! 

We're back at it! After recording a remastered edition of episode 1 (check it out!) Marvel Shawarma really hits you in the funny bone, with our eulogy for Chitauri Warrior #356, and then our wonderful roleplay. Iceman calls his mom and gets a whole ton more than he bargained for. So much more than anyone bargained for. We didn't even know how little we had bargained for until the bargaining was over and the bargain was - what were we talking about again?

Marvel Shawarma's done it again. Jebediah Stane joins us once again for a lovely intro, then we smoothly sail into this week's eulogy for our dearly departed - the Destroyer, also known as Phillip. Or Skurður the Deathbringer, which is apparently an actual Icelandic word (Skurður, not Deathbringer), even though Leanor thought she made it up. For segment two, Jean Grey visits some psychics, such as Madam Pomenegranite, and discusses serious topics like avocados flossing and two peanuts making a carrot cake. 

Season four. Four is how many times we tried to get a life, but somehow we're still here. And you're still here! So congratulations and welcome to a brand-new season. Season 4 starts out promisingly. We introduce our new first segment - Villain Eulogies (thank you, Coleman and Todd!) - and we talk EXTENSIVELY about the Lizard and Jebediah Stane and how all three Night at the Museums had MARVEL ACTORS. *mind blown* We also share with the world Scott's little-known favorite hobby - bird-watching.
