Season number six, complete. You're welcome. This episode stars such celebrities as the Thwarters, Sexist Spitfire, Disco Smurf Man, and Weed (Wade Wilson X Victor Creed). Deadpool and Sabretooth are married by Alan Shingles of the New York Yankees in a sports bar, and chaos ensues. For our last segment, last DC/Marvel roleplay of the season, Joker and Loki write three books, including The Handbook of Evil Deeds, Hugging an Octopus, and Villainy 101. Also featured in today's epsiode: THE SLOSH BUCKET.
*cue Marvel theme music* Lots of exciting content this time around! Possibly our best episode ever? Listen and find out! Leanor and Matt talk about the entirety of Wandavision, Disney Plus and its volume problems, and Matt's habits around a microwave. For our ship, Ebonyphisto is introduced - a cross between Ebony Maw and Mephisto, aka Doctor Snabs. They meet in a doctor's office and later enjoy the ultimate party snack. For our roleplay, Bonky Barnes and Dick Grayson make some *inhales* POTAGE, snail tentacle soup, and other various delights, while also discussing Bucky's strange voice changes, Funky Cold Medina, and church choirs.
In today's episode - the Fantastic Four movie! The old one from 2005! That no one really knows about! Much discussion is devoted to this semi-obscure movie that Leanor somehow loves, along with - Star Wars, lounge singers, and Willie Lumpkin and the Lumpkinettes (all three of those are synonyms). For our Worst Marvel Ship ever, Leanor and Matt are forced to contemplate Raccuser (pronounced Ruh-ccuser), a ship consisting of Rocket Raccoon and Ronan the Accuser, who meet for the second time in a trinket shop on Xandar. Finally, Captain America and Superman are forced to share a cell and end up discussing manners, Superman's grandma (the famous bodybuilder) Zelda Melda, and the Case of the Missing Sticky Buns.
Today marks a special episode - the episode where Matt and Leanor finally talk about Wandavision! And the Mandalorian! And pretty much all the cool stuff we missed because we didn't have Disney Plus! That takes up far more time than it probably should, as our Marvel Media Corner. For our ship, Maledu (Malekith x Yondu) go to Malibu and bond over sunscreen and abduction. Finally, Deathstroke and Deadpool are revealed to be on some random sports team, and later the one and only Jingle Bells, where Santa is set on fire.
An entire year of Marvel Shawarma, no breaks, no skips, no excuses. If you've been with us all this time, thank you. You need to see a psychiatrist. For this auspicious episode, our Marvel media takes the form of another fanfiction - Flickering Lights by GaHoolianGirl. For our Worst Marvel Ships, Taserface and Abomination become Taserbomb and have a wonderful time burping and cleaning their apartment - at the same time. Finally, our roleplay, where Green Arrow and Hawkeye experience a little unfriendly rivalry, centered around elephant-hide paperclips, milkshake-flavored tacos, and Randy, the universally despised coworker. Also...Clark Kent?! Listen to find out!
Another season, another reason...to keep listening! We hope! This new season starts like no other, as we talk about the highly intelligent and labyrinthine book "Grow Up, Ant-Man!" followed by our new first segment - Worst Ships Ever. This segment brings to life the little-known ship Hojo - Howard the Duck and Mojo, who eat Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti(tm), sit inside a fighting arena, and break up after the first date. Finally, our new roleplay - DC and Marvel. Batman and Iron Man go to stately Wayne Manor and Stark's Malibu Mansion to ask for a cup of sugar, complain about a stolen Iron Man suit/utility belt, and argue about land rights.
