  • Ep 10: Rocket and Groot Visit a Psychic

For this epic finale, Leanor and Matt discuss the latest and greatest in Marvel media - What If...? episode 1, featuring none other than the superspy-turned-supersoldier Captain Carter (Plus her new brand of tea, Captean Cartea). Then, our Pointless Powers and Tech discusses the rarest ability of all - ability to make a podcast, starring Wifiron Man (*long sigh*). To finish off our 70th episode, Rocket and Groot go visit Professor X in disguise to drink Coke, marinate roots, and talk coconut shrimp.

  • Ep 9: Star Lord Goes to a School
Episode 69. One away from 70. The clock ticks closer and closer. For our Marvel Media Corner, Leanor and Matt talk about Daredevil, the rad lawyer/crimefighter and his partner-in-not-crime, Foggy Nelson. Some speculation on the origins of Foggy's name included. For our Pointless Powers and Tech, Leanor and Matt talk about the mutation that resulted in the creation of Bearderina, the hobo beard fairy, who lives in a dill pickle barrel and works as a sweat-wiper for a volleyball team. It was...quite a mutation. Last but not least, our roleplay sets forth exactly what would happen if Star-Lord visited a school and learned about intergalactic relations, intergalactic thievery, and intergalactic geometry along with such pupils as Scoscher the (peanut butter) Couch

  • Ep 7: Beast Goes to a Restaurant
NOTE: In this episode, Leanor is dumb and refers to "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" as "Avengers Assemble". THEY'RE TWO VERY DIFFERENT TV SHOWS. GET IT RIGHT, LEANOR. Besides that mixup in our Marvel Media Corner, things go as smoothly as they ever go for the pair of shrill schnauzers with ADHD that Matt and Leanor are. Our Pointless Powers & Tech, Matt brings in another incantation - the Gum Rejuvenation Spell. It's better if you don't ask questions. Eventually - our roleplay. Beast waits 13 hours for his meal, realizes he's accidentally gone to a full contact restaurant, and gets Lougan Doogan confused with his buddy Logan.

  • Ep 6: Quicksilver Goes to Prison

After an intro consisting of Matt screaming and then Matt and Leanor talking about Matt screaming, the last four episodes of Loki are introduced as the subject for this week's Marvel Media Corner. MMC this week is mostly Leanor being angry about Loki and Sylvie, so... For our Pointless Powers & Tech segment, the Marvel Shawarma bullpen talks about the mutant ability to smell salsa and identify the type of salsa within a five mile radius. Matt also has a slight aneurysm over the device "Nostro" (think Cerebro except nose-related), and destroys our recording studio. Nice going, Matt. Finally, our roleplay wraps things up, and Quicksilver talks with prison guards, a fellow prisoner, and a therapist about cowbells, metaphors, and Spam and fleas sandwiches.

  • Ep 5: Nick Fury Goes to the Library
Whoa, we're halfway there, whoa, two random people sitting in chairs andrecordingtheirthoughtsandfeelingsintoamicrophonetoreleasethemintothewild. Music. Anyway. This episode, Leanor and Matt discuss the comic All-New X-Men: Yesterday's X-Men, and Matt points out the many flaws in time travel because he's a party pooper. For our first segment, the S.H.I.E.L.D. item Trench Toast is brought in, the handy way to eat breakfast while fighting bad guys. Lastly, our roleplay discusses Brad the Tear, cactus fires, and music(tm). And... a callback to episode 4 of season 2? Listen and find out!

  • Ep 4: Loki Goes to a Pawn Shop

Episode 4, in the bag. Today Matt and Leanor discuss Iron Man: The Armor Trap during Marvel Media Corner, and then the Caramelizer (a high-tech rubber sword involving the contributions of three people, including Chef Peter Quail, Dr. Nerf Snerf, and Romschteen). Our roleplay focuses on Loki and his pawn shop adventures. He also stops by at the Singing Prawn Prawn Shop and witnesses a dancing prawn and eats a King Pepe Fruit Salad.

  • Ep 3: Red Skull Goes to the Dentist

And thus the churning pot of random randomity (definitely a word) that is Marvel Shawarma churns out another episode. Such fun. For our MMC (Marvel Media Corner), Matt and Leanor talk about Namor the Sub-Mariner and his daily villain/hero alternations. The Pointless Powers and Tech segment features the Photosynthesizer, a highly potent grow-accelerator and possible fire hazard, especially to Randy, or anyone who lives near Beef McAdams. Our roleplay segment involves none other than Red Skull and his talking tooth, his mystical Toothgrinder, and his dentist.

  • Ep 2: Hulk Visits a Hospital
Happy Fathers' Day! Despite completely forgetting to mention this holiday exists, Matt and Leanor have a wonderful time existing in your ears. We talk about Loki episode 2, the Latin word for volcano and its possible nonexistence, and what a grewgoat is. Rocket dissolves some socks with his Socket Launcher in our Pointless Powers & Tech segment - because socks are obviously evil and should be eliminated. We discuss our new sponsor - Schlubnagstars - the podcast statistics app that is 100% real, and then take Hulk to a hospital with his hamster Jimmy Pops the Second. They meet such people as Randy Bandy from the Allan Randall Chicken Mickey Laster Optical Center Hospital and Amanda Cranda, the receptionist. Period.

  • Ep 1: Spider-Man Goes to the Doctor

Season 7 - the remix season - begins! BUMBUMBAAAAAH. We start by discussing the new Marvel show Loki, and end up not actually being able to remember the names of literally anything in that show. Then we segue into our new first segment - Pointless Powers & Tech - which starts off with the Righteous Rite of the Rubber Ducky (and the Yogurt Permutation). For our roleplay, we mix Spider-Man with the -Goes to the Doctor situation to get...(surprise surprise!) SPIDER-MAN GOES TO THE DOCTOR! What. A. Trip.
