  • Ep 10: Daredevil Goes to the Zoo
Our fiftieth episode! Seems like an occasion to celebrate by... doing nothing out of the ordinary! And look at that, that's exactly what we did! For our episode this week, the topics breached include scantily-clad 1940s superheroes, Stan Lee's early writing, and an unfortunate disease known only as Wolverinitis. For the roleplay, the Man Without Fear goes to a zoo and encounters Tasmanian devils, leper leopards, and doughnuts. Of course.

  • Ep 9: The Punisher Goes to a Spa
This episode somehow managed to make it intact this time, and Leanor and Matt have engaging and enlightening conversations covering all kinds of topics, such as - whether Sharon Carter would be better as a statue or not, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier (which neither of us have seen but still love to talk about), and Ta-Nehisi Coates. For our Marvel Maladies, Bucky's Bunions enters the ring and proves to be far more fascinating than anyone could have ever expected. Finally, our roleplay. Frank goes to a spa/shotgun-polishing shop, Randy's Salon and Saloon, and some random spa, and meets such fascinating characters as Andre, Stilt-Man's little known cousin.

  • Ep 8: Jessica Jones Goes Skydiving

This episode was, sadly, recorded twice. Due to an unfortunate accident (*coughcough* Leanor *coughcough*), the original was DELETED and now you have to sit through seven minutes of us sadly reminiscing about how great it was. But we still forge on and discuss such intriguing topics as Spider-Man and Deadpool, Pen & Teller, and Captain America and The Shawshank Redemption. For our Marvel Maladies, Rhodey Rash comes into play and is revealed to be quite a fascinating affliction. Finally, for our roleplay, Jessica Jones, private investigator extraordinaire, goes skydiving with her instructor, and also sometimes flying hamsters.

  • Ep 7: Iron Fist Goes to a Farm

Peanut Pie returns to the podcast yet again! For our intro, he talks with us about Marvel Unlimited, Armor Wars, and Vision. Then Matt and Leanor discuss Doctor Strange's Astral Plane Pains, a devastating condition that affects those of us on the astral plane. For our roleplay, Danny Rand meets Farmer Dan. Also a tour guide for the Mystical Plains of Volmir, and Andy Fist, who runs Fist Pharm. Peanut Pie signs off along with Marvel Shawarma at the end to conclude a very special episode.

  • Ep 6: Luke Cage Goes to the Mall
This week, Leanor introduces (via Marvel Media Corner), our first ever fanfiction! It was okay! But she's running out of Marvel things to talk about! Anyway! We also discuss Star-Lordosis (a serious mental illness), Bucket the Slappy Tuna Fish *insert slap sound effect*, and Locksferd University in Bingland. For our roleplay, our first Defender, Luke Cage, goes to the mall and attempts to get his ears pierced, then stops by the Blouse Barn (credit to Schitt's Creek) to tell a store clerk about his turtle farm/factory/store, Ex-shell-sior.

  • Ep 5: Yondu Goes to a Tanning Salon

For this episode, Leanor and Matt break out the big guns: talking about Flat Stanley, Bucky's nickname for Steve, and how weird Captain America is. This week's affliction is Scarlet Witch Itch, a serious disease that involves energy blasts and toaster love (look, just don't ask questions, seriously). Finally, we end up at a tanning salon with Yondu and Anita Tan, for some hilarious hijinks, including destruction of private property and arson. Fun times, am I right?

  • Ep 4: Drax Goes to the Movies
The credit for this week's roleplay goes to three special fans: Thomas, Clancy, and Ellen, all the way from Australia! Of course, to celebrate Australia, Matt apparently has to bring some Australian colloquialisms to the table and make Leanor guess what they are. Better than our usual intro segment? Well, you'll have to listen to find out. For the malady this week, Matt introduces Dr. Doom's Intestinal Plumes, and Ant-Man's brother Rant-Man - better known as Skrrt Long. For our roleplay, Drax goes to a movie theater and talks the Triminator, massive pieces of popcorn, and murder. Three things that every movie theater needs.

  • Ep 3: Rocket and Groot Go to Prison
Our first ever double-character role play! Rocket and Groot both end up in the slammer and find a way to break out using only psycho killers/Nickelback fans, homemade chocolate, Rocket's naked body (apparently he forgets clothes sometimes), and mustaches. This is a must-listen for anyone interested in any of those things. In the beginning, this episode prominently features - Kang the Conqueror, Prouncetown University (Go Teethgrays!), and a serious discussion about the dangers of Cap Tooth, Bucky Tooth (pre- and post-), and Winter Tooth.

  • Ep 2: Gamora Takes Dancing Lessons

New on MARVEL SHAWARMA: the truly atrocious 2003 Hulk movie, the Intestinettes (don't ask questions), and *drum roll*...HELA'S TORSO SPIKES, which have a lot more comedic potential than you'd think, thanks to an illustrative study from Hurvrod University. For our roleplay, Gamora goes to Papa/Popeye/Prapo/Prapro/Pepe's and dances her Intestinettes out.

  • Ep 1: Star-Lord Goes to a Pawn Shop

Season 5's got an auspicious beginning: a special surprise awaits a listener at the very beginning! After the super duper secret special surprise, Matt and Leanor start season 5 by talking about Marvel Apples to Apples, Aunt May falling on a giant spider, and more assorted delights. For our new first segment, we introduce Marvel Maladies with Black Widow's Peak - a lethal mutation of an innocuous widow's peak. Then the role play. Peter Quail goes to a pawn shop and tries to pawn: an Infinity Stone, a living bell, Rocket Raccoon, and space junk which is actually Hulk Juice. What exactly is Hulk Juice? Listen and find out!
